THE BABA WHO COULD BE AT TWO PLACES AT THE SAME TIME.

REMINISCENCES 

(HE blessed me at Prayag)

It was 1959 when I first met 'NEEM KAROLI BABA'.

He had come home on my Grandpa's request. A big crowd had collected once it knew that the Baba was visiting our place.After he stayed for some time, he walked towards the end of the fairway.Before the car pulled up, he stood near the road for a few minutes.

I was a young lad awaiting my High School result.My elder brother had passed Intermediate Examination with distinction in four subjects.

With great courage I asked the Baba, " Maharaj Ji, will I get First Division ".

The Baba did not look pleased with my question.He did not reply .His piercing eyes conveyed the answer.I missed my First Division by six marks !

 I saw him last at Bhumiadhar temple near Gethia.

He gave no discourses.

His teachings were sufficient.I recall that he always wrapped himself in a plaid blanket.There was gossip & laughter for he loved to joke.Unending number of devotees & visitors came to have his 'darshan'.

Sometimes he  sat in total silence,absorbed in another world.

Sometimes he got angry-very angry.He knew who genuinely was coming to meet him & the ones who were being pushed to have his 'darshan'.

He knew what was inside our hearts.

My Grandpa told me that Baba had the power to just disappear from a place & yet appear at two to three places at the same time.

He was a great Bhakta of Lord Hanuman.

Baba left for heavenly abode at 1;15 hours ,September 11, 1973 at Vrindaban.

"OM Glory to the Lord of the Universe

Who removes in a moment the troubles

of devotees and the sufferings

of the poor

OM,Glory to the Lord of the Universe"

To day is the 15th June 2014.

Today is the 'Sthapana Diwas' of the Holy Kainchi temple.

Lakhs of devotees shall throng the temple premises to seek Baba's Blessings.This has been happening over the years.

They shall all receive 'Mal Puas' as 'prasad'

They are blessed  !

In flashback,I am walking behind the Baba . I ask him the question" Maharaj Ji, will I pass in First Division?".

I am blessed.

We all are blessed !!
